HDBDK Wins Product Liability Case for Toyota

SAN ANTONIO, June 25, 2007 - Attorneys Kurt Kern, Cary Slobin and Fred Huntsman of Hartline, Dacus, Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P. obtained a defense verdict on behalf of Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. in a product liability case in San Antonio, Texas. The plaintiff was rendered quadriplegic in rollover accident in which she claimed roof crush caused her injuries. The plaintiffs' counsel argued damages approaching $25-50 million would have been an appropriate award.
